The Aachen Vocal Soloists (AaVokaSo) are a vocal ensemble founded in 2024, consisting of 12 young singers and a conductor, dedicated to choral music from the past centuries with a special focus on performing new compositions.

As a collective of musicians, each ensemble member contributes equally on an artistic as well as structural level.

In the revival of their concert programme, Schattenspiele ("shadow plays") the ensemble performs commissioned works by composers Aljoscha Ristow, Andy Janssen, and Nima Pournaghshband.

The concerts will take place on 20, 21, and 22 November 2026, in Monschau, Brühl and Dortmund.
