​​​​​​​Der Wanderer is a music collective which in a sense is made up of mutliple small ensembles, which also perform on their own independently. This makes combinations of different duo and trio settings possible and even a (quasi-)quartet including piano four hands.

Composers Hon Ning Cheung and Andy Ja​​​nssen both write for the ensemble - with their different compositional styles leading to a colourful programme.​
